Catalytic activity of borophosphate glasses was efficiently tested for the reduction of p-nitrophenol (PNP) in the presence of NaBH4. Matallic nanofilms were obtained by thermal post-treatment of the glass template at 400 °C at constant flow hydrogen. The work focuses in the bottom-up process for nanoparticle growth and their application in catalysis. The results were recently published at the Journal of Materials Science (DOI:10.1007/s10853-017-0899-7 )
